Looks like he is branching out into sculptures + paintings. He told me that he is moving away from customs and more toward his own creations. Rest of the pieces from the show here.

I am certain that we will be seeing more sculptures, which is a real fine thing. It also means it will be harder to acquire his customs/sculptures due to quantity and price. But it is about time to take on bigger challenges.
Just glad I got on the bandwagon before he stopped taking commission. This show tells exactly what Doktor A is capable of apart from just customizing toys.

This show tells exactly what Doktor A is capable of apart from just customizing toys. Exactly! These sculpture pieces are even more amazing in person. Though I may lose a few years attempting to ship them safely to their owners after the show.

Blimey my own thread!
blush.
Indeed more original 3D pieces from me and more paintings too. Less toy customs but I cant stop them all together.. Not for a while anyway its what people (and Galleries) demand.

Right now you're my second favorite three dimensional artist. Sorry , Kuksi just edges you out. You have very creative and original ideas , keep it up. Oh... and try to stay affordable for a little while longer so I have a chance to get something.

Oh... and try to stay affordable for a little while longer so I have a chance to get something. Haha. Thats very decent of you. I am very very happy with that billing. His stuff is amazing.. Yes more sculptures in the works. And I have decided that my toy customs will become more sculptural in as much as I will only use the parts of the toy I am interested in so the final piece may look very far removed from the original toy form. Such as the VW van above. More construction and more warping.. VW hotrod van to Mechtorian bookseller. A bit random but what the hey! His name is Walter Van Wrentl.

A lot of people see Tik Tok in my work. Which is great. He is a splendid character. Thanks for the great comments fellows. Very uplifting.

I was thinking more along the lines of Frank Zappa or Eugene Hutz... but that's just me I guess. Then there's always Salvador Dali of course..

The above is the most amazing thing I've seen yet come out of the good Doktor's mind. And THAT is saying something!
