i was on the fence about her work when i first discovered her. i definitely recognized her talent, but her corey helford show totally blew me away. amazing! i probably would've bought something if i was on her list.

Ahhh hell yes, a Ji-thread. I'm liking this board already. I've been wanting an original of hers for a while(I missed out on her last two White Walls shows). Here's the piece I got from the Corey Helford show: It's titled "Requiem" Another in frame: And here's a link to Juxtapoz that has some high quality images of a few paintings from the show: www.juxtapoz.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=2645&Itemid=62

wow mute.. i think u got the nicest piece in the show. IMO, if you look at pics of her past white walls show... some pieces look real nice and some look rushed. like if you go to the back room of white walls... her left over pieces don't look very good, but at the group show she just had there, the pieces on the wall looked awesome (and were sold). not trying to talk like some expert... but just saying what i observed. looks like her stuff was consistently good at the Corey Helford show... and unlike toemah, i'm a fan of her skull stuff

Although if I had to pick my favorite from the show it would probably be "Rose Gown", so beautiful! It wasn't available for preview until after I already purchased "Requiem". I agree with you about the quality of some of her work, not all winners but the new stuff with the "day of the dead" faces gives her work a nice edge and shows she's willing to change up her style to keep from repeating herself.

Thank you DrunkMunky. I was browsing around White Walls site and saw she had a piece at the "Hip to Help" benefit show in Feb which sold for $2,000: It's like a combo of her old style(color palette) and new style which makes for a great piece. I would have bought it had I known . She has a nice new site now she just needs to keep it up to date.

Saturday was the last day for the show. So hopefully they will start packing things up and shipping them off next week because I'm dying to see my piece in person.

The Art Print( www.theartprint.net ) has 8 different prints of hers for sale. A good variety to choose from. I hope to see a run of prints from the Corey Helford show.

Here's one that I regret passing on: It's still available $5,500 as of this minute just contact White Walls. It would go so nice with mine but can't afford to. It would end up being the last thing I bought this year. Meaning no KMNDZ or Ceccoli.
