I really love her creativity and how each piece looks so uniquely different the the last one.

To cheer myself up I also went to buy some more art: (Usually this works ) This is the best nesting doll I have ever seen. The piece is for the Modern Matryoshka show opening tonight at Rothick Art House: www.rothick.com/index2.php#/home/: Apart from the great images I love that there is a narrative, or at least I read one into it

So I went to spend my money that I saved from Josh Keyes' print to buy the latest one from Jennybird Alcantara: I think this is only the second giclee she released. Jennybird Alcantara Reviving Ophelia, 2011 Print Edition - Giclee Print on Fine Art Rag Paper 17 x 22.5 inches Edition of 50 $ 175.00 Available here: varnishfineart.com/Artwork-Detail.cfm?ArtistsID=721&NewID=4475

Jennybird Alcantara Reviving Ophelia, 2011 Print Edition - Giclee Print on Fine Art Rag Paper I saw that original at the Varnish re-opening a few months back...it's massive, like 36x60 or maybe bigger, and was one of the best pieces I've seen in a long, long time. It's the kind of thing that makes me wish I'd wasted my youth and turned myself into a one-percenter.
