Holy Mary in Heaven this show is mind blowing. The new Tessar work has my jaw on the ground then a full belly punch with Eric Fortune's new works. Trying to catch my breath. Outstanding show. Congratulations Beau. Info from LeBasse belowwww.lebasseprojects.com/Eric Fortune "Lost in Light" Opens April 11th in our Project Roomlebasseprojects.com/current/eric_fortune.htmlOpening in conjunction with Tessar Lo is a solo exhibition from award winning illustrator Eric Fortune. Fortune has turned his eye towards a career in contemporary figurative art after spending years as an accomplished illustrator. Fortune will present a series of new paintings in our project room and provide us with his largest body of work to date. I'm really in love with Tessar's work in this show... especially "One Place You Can Find Me" and "Plum," which are so gorgeous and dreamlike. His palette in these pieces is really rich and dark, but still retains his signature muted tones and a subtle sense of glow. If you haven't seen the great interview he gave me last week, check it out here.

I'm surprised some of these are still available, especially the lower priced ones.

Eric Fortune may be my new favorite artist, these pieces and the piece for the Hi-Fructose show are blowing me away. Can't wait to see what the future holds for him.

I'm surprised some of these are still available, especially the lower priced ones. Yeh so am I. I wish I didnt have to pay for tuition soon or else I would grab one. His work is bound to go up soon, so I might add one of his paintings into the "Regrets" thread since I know this will be one of mine.

Surprisingly we have the 2 small pieces left. Anyone interested? I would grab those in a flash if i didn't grab his Hi-Fructose piece. So surprised that these pieces, being the size they are and the price they are, are still around.
