Eine gets into town tomorrow to start installing his solo exhibition "The A - Z of Change"  Opening Reception: Thursday July 9 2009 / 7.00pm – 10.00pm Exhibition Dates: July 9 – July 30 2009 He is the first artist to have the entire 2000sq/ft main gallery space to himself and we can't wait to see what he does with it. While he is here he will be doing a brand new print at Modern Multiples and we found him some great store front shutters to paint on. We just got the complete preview together and it's a real strong body of work with a whole new direction.    As always, please contact art@carmichaelgallery.com to preview all available work. |

nice to see him mixing it up a bit. whilst i like his work, and love to see it on the street, it can get a bit same-y, but this body of work adds a welcome fresh perspective on his output.
great looking show seth. prices look good for large one off pieces too.
sleepy - i believe that the background is screenprinted and then the letters are oversprayed. someone correct me if i'm wrong.

Each piece is a single canvas, the letters are hand sprayed and then the photo collage is silk screened over the top. It's a great effect and the pieces are even stronger in person. You can check the whole preview here: www.carmichaelgallery.com/shows/july92009preview.html |

Anyone that tried to email on Friday, please resend, our web server was shut down do to a fire for about 24 hours. We will be releasing the print tomorrow, edition of 50 printed at Modern Multiples, 28 x 28 in (71 x 71 cm).  $250 Eine has been busy on the streets of LA doing some shutter font pieces, looking really good and there are more to come:      |

The place is being overtaken - each one of those lil' individual pieces of wood that EINE is putting on the wall, is being done so with liquid nails. Talk about a brutal clean up... Seth, you owe David a nice dinner after he cleans this one up hahahaha
