Does anyone know if JJ will actually be in attendance to sign copies of his superb Kindling compendium. If so, and someone wouldn't mind grabbing a copy, it would be nice to have one signed. The book looks incredibly high quality and is a nice way to reminisce about one of the most mindblowing exhibits of all time. If he won't be there, I'll just grab one online. Anyone?

Thanks for the info. I think I had confused the Kindling book/poster set with Process Recess 3. Just looked on the Chronicle Books website, which is accepting preorders for what I thought was being advance released at SDCC, and they describe it as being "12 Removable Poster Prints". Here's a link: www.chroniclebooks.com/index/main,book-info/store,books/products_id,8189/title,Kindling/ I take it this isn't the new Process Recess and not what James will be signing in San Diego. I'm even more intrigued by this revelation of a new PR and would really love a copy. If anyone can assist a fellow JJ fanatic, please drop me a note. Thanks in advance!

JJ is gonna have some skate decks too. Hung don't worry about tickets. CC is the easiest to get in to. grab one off of someone leaving, give em $10 for it and you won't have a problem. The biggest issues are dealing with traffic, both driving and the hordes of people, and finding parking. I agree with what Amanda said in the other thread about the trolley or train, but even that is mobbed on CC wknd.

Where's the live-blogging from the hot, sweaty, jam-packed center of it all? Come on, you guys! Haha, maybe next year. Only twittered this year. Man, my first time at Comic-Con today. Pretty overwhelming. Will have to come back for the full 5 days next year...

well i know it's a super long shot but if anyone managed to pick up the travis louie SDCC print and isn't keeping it let me know. I guess the guy I had getting me stuff managed to get the curiosities book but not the print.
Looks like I'm going to try to make it for the first time next year as we were watching the coverage on G4 yesterday and my girlfriend said it would probably be fun.

Comic con was great, completely exhausted and nice to be home. Highlights for us were Avatar footage, New Toy Story 3 toys, Square Enix, New Moon hype, IDW, Hi Fructose, Crazy ass cosplay outfits, $3 water and 120,000 geeks! John Lasseter, live True Blood panel, Futurama signing, Hot Toys booth, DC, Gentle Giant, Sideshow, Ashley Wood. Yoskay. James Jean. Travis Louie. AION. Ron English. Wombat Choegal. SW Republic Trailer.
So yeah not bad for 5 days. Preview night was insane.
