loving the image on the flyer for this show... opens this friday 17th july.
i saw some of his new work in denver recently.
i think his laser etched pieces really pop off the negative space he creates with the blue lines he uses against the white backgrounds.
it's hard to see in the image, but there is a nice subtlety in the white background - the negative area and the clothes are solid white, whilst the skin areas are translucent white.
