That large piece is absolutely jaw dropping. Hopefully I'll be able to see some of Lori's work in person one of these days.

I have to admit that it was love at first sight. I started paying attention to the world of prints less than a year ago. Within this time I have discovered some amazing talent that has really moved me. I know, I know...stop rolling your eyes. Images that have felt as if I was punched in the gut. Images that have made me shed a tear or two. Needless to say, it has been quite an adventure discovering new artist. (thank you Arrestedmotion.com, HI-FRUTOSE, forums such as this.) Anywho, as I the passed the endcap in the local B&Noble and saw Mrs.V looking at me from the cover of Hi-frutose, I fell in Love! I have to own this print! This work from Lori is absolutely stunning. May she win over a million fans. May I win that signed copy of the program from her show!

Does anyone know if these paintings are on canvas? I just discovered her art just recently and fell in love with her flawless techniques! Hope to see one of her paintings up close in this lifetime.

I pre-ordered Hi-Fructose Volume 13 but I haven't received it yet. Wonder when it's going to come through the mail?

I work in oils and paint on either wood panel (from Barron Arts in Brooklyn) or this great, ultra-smooth imported Italian linen. My rendered drawings are made with graphite on bristol board paper. What is she signing on the picture the page before? Is this the new Hi Fructose or some catalogue? Edit: I just answered the question myself thanks to Arrested Motion. Could have read that before... I keep my fingers crossed now.

Lori's new art is mesmerizing. Maybe I'll plan a one day trip to London just to see the show, I think it's worth it !

Fantastic, awesome, stupendous, inspiring, breath taking... should I go on?! I wish I could go see this show... It's no surprise her shows are few and far between, I mean, look at these things, The Pinnacle took 6 months - I wouldn't have been surprised if she'd said it took 2 years! 6 months is amazing for work like this. The Hi-Fructose article is great, and as usual she gives little away with regards meanings to the pieces, but I like that, let's my imagination work overtime. (Pick me AM!!)

really stunning show. i was amazed at how perfectly executed her work actually is. this was the first time i'd seen it - it really is absoulutely flawless.
i think these pieces were on cradled boards rather than canvas as mentioned above...
lori's parents were at the show. one of my pics shows her with her mum, who was really funny.
