ABOVE's 1st ever indoor gallery show. After a long conversation in Paris with friend Blek le Rat, the two artist decided to organize a duo gallery show together. Blek le Rat was able to persuade and slow down Above from his global travels to make this show @ WHITE WALLS gallery in San Francisco, California. For the first time ever Above will be making his original artworks available for purchase to the general public. Gallery wanted to give you an early notice so you can contact the gallery to get in line for purchasing these artists works. I've got it on my Calendar, I'll be there! Looks like a great show. I love Above's figurative stencils. "His stealing from the rich and giving to the poor" print and fundraiser was genus in my opinion. I wish I could get my hands on one of those! And his most recent piece in Cuba to raise awareness of the need in Haiti was great too. I like artists who use their art to impact contemporary social issues. And Blek le Rat is a freakin legend.
Obviously, I'm really excited about this show. :-D

The kid with the arrows looks like above only. Here's a pic I took of a street version in Paris last summer: Blek's mona lisa pieces are hilariously bad. And the man who walks through walls? Again? A graffed fence? Again? Any more pics of his work as surely it can't get much worse?

I've only known Above for his "arrow" public works around the world, but haven't seen any of his "stencil" works before. That prompted me to assume that it was a collaboration. Yes, I was little disappointed to see Blek using repetitive traditional works at the gallery, but there's a couple new pieces which I believe that may be new works as it's my first time seeing Blek's show in person:
