Yes indeed. Hoping that my thesis schedule allows me a quick jump down to London. If Linnea's piece is any indication as to the show I think we're all in for a treat.

Thanks all. Great to see so much enthusiasm around this and the CHG show up in Bristol.
We've been in discussions with London Miles about this special show for just about a year now and it's finally coming together and we couldn't be more amped. All the artists are pumped and will be delivering some beautiful pieces. The show will feature all brand new work from over 40 artists. All will be featuring 12x12 works, with several busting out diptychs and triptychs, so this should prove to be a very nice starting point, price wise, for UK collectors to dive further into the new contemporary movement. Tina from London Miles is over here in LA now and upon her return to the UK next week she'll start putting together a waiting/request list for this show. We're planning some cool stuff for opening night, so we'll keep all posted here moving ahead and post some more sneak peeks soon.
We're really excited to partner up with London Miles for this special show. More soon...

The work of Aaron Nagel - both still in the progress stages - one headed to the UK and the other intended for our big Culver City Art Walk show coming up on Sat, June 5th. Look for Nagel to rock LA this December with us. Can't wait! Started a 'Sneak Peek' set on Flickr for the show: www.flickr.com/photos/thinkspace/sets/72157623667458775/We'll be posting shots from the artist's studios and more as we get closer. Let's hope that damn volcano stops belching ash into the air so we are able to ship all over on schedule.

***Moderators note: Reposting from misplaced thread.*** London Miles Gallery is proud to present a group exhibition featuring a bold selection of international artists from the burgeoning New Contemporary Art movement. Produced in collaboration with Los Angeles’ Thinkspace Gallery, and showcasing a comprehensive selection of forty-five of the most exciting and talented individuals working within this movement, ‘The Next Generation’ brings the best new international talent right to the doorstep of London’s Contemporary art community. Curated by Thinkspace Gallery Director Andrew Hosner, the exhibition features 12 x 12 inch works of art from a fastidiously handpicked selection of emerging and established artists. Shattering preconceptions and enlightening the British art sector as to the artistic and aesthetic integrity of the New Contemporary art movement, never one to stand still, London Miles Gallery is already looking ahead in delivering the best new talent to UK shores as part of this cross waters collaboration. Opening reception: Friday June 11th, 2010. 7pm to 11pm On show: June 12th to July 4th, 2010 The potential for this show to be huge is through the roof! I really think this is a treat for Europe, all these artists at one show. What a range of work! I really hope to catch this on my way out of Sweden. A layover in London should be pretty easy to do no?

NEW OPENING DATE for 'The Next Generation' at London Miles: Friday, June 11th 7-11PM The opening got pushed back to the 11th as London Miles wanted to host this show in the ground floor / entrance area of the big art complex they are located in and really make it as big as possible, and there were some scheduling conflicts with the studios. www.westbournestudios.com Show will be on view June 12th - July 4th
