Anyone headed out to this? Definitely driving down early to catch 'Survey Select' during the afternoon and then heading over to catch this. Can't wait!

Unfortunately, I have to work. But definitely a must see for street art fans in Southern Cal. Don't get many chances like this. Some cool stuff going up around town. Posted our coverage here if anyone's interested.

I will be there for sure. I am in San Diego and its rare for us to get many good shows here. Usually I am have to drive up to LA. Between Survey Select tonight and Viva La Revolucion tomorrow I think this could be the best weekend for art San Diego has seen yet.
As as nice cherry to top that, Comic-Con starts next week.

Wow. Now that's impressive. And not that the stencil is even all that detailed, but that's one massive piece of spray work and took much more effort than printing and pasting pieces of paper. I'm a fan of Shep's outdoor wheatpaste murals. But this is a nice change, for sure. A throw back of sorts, just at a much larger scale, and much more of an actual work of art than anything public I've seen from him in a while. Thanks for the images.
oh and that Os Gemeos piece is beyond amazing. Not a new composition, of course. But the scale is nuts..not to mention the execution, as always. The Twins are public art geniuses. Look at those orange/yellow paints. So badass! Where can I get a pair?!
It's def a good day to be a San Diegan.

Viva la Revolucion was a blast! We got to see the Os Gemeos mural beforehand, then had the chance to talk with the twins in person at the show. The stand-outs for me were the Os Gemeos assemblage piece and JR's "Women Are Heroes" room. Afterward, we walked around the city for a couple of hours and saw almost all the other street pieces in situ. It was an amazing day.
