Yes, that is one in a series of five stencils, each of which is fairly unique. The sculptures will be similar to the ones he showed at LeBasse in January 2010. Here are a few of the new ones.

that's interesting. i have 3 of his little sculptures / figurines. nice, playful little pieces.
wondering why he is using stencils though as he can actually paint, whereas a lot of stencil artists can't... if you know what i mean. do you know what the reasons for using the stencils are simon / amanda? it does look from the above piece on the flyer that the use of the layers is very well composed and detailed for a typical stencil.

He has been working really hard on the paintings for his July solo at LeBasse, and I think he wanted to have some fun and mix things up, trying out a series of stencils as a bit of a break from that routine. There will be five versions of this piece in the show, each of them quite different from the other. I believe the stencil work is mostly in the base layers, to maintain some consistency between the five faces. Each of the pieces is finished off with freehand spraycan work. I've been looking at them as being like an opportunity to have a section of one of his walls, as he rarely uses spraypaint for more than finishing details in his gallery pieces.

Yes, like Commandax stated, Hem is working on a series of paintings for his July solo. I have seen the first 4 large pieces close to completion and they are very very strong. I will avoid the overused phrases like 'next level' and 'stunning' but I am comfortable suggesting you should put Andrew's July show on your shopping list. His new paintings continue his maturity from an illustrator to a fine artist. They are 'stunning' and 'next level.'
I have always loved his sculptures and street murals as well - which give his paintings some context of where he draws his inspiration.
Did you all see the painting he did at the LA Art Show?

Ha! i'm sure he is working equally as hard for his exhibition at Show & Tell Gallery.

Here's another image from Andrew's stencil edition to give you an idea of how these pieces differ. Attachments:
