Thinkspace Culver City Art Walk Show (6/4/11)

Going to be an excellent day out. Something to note is this year Culver City is having the Art Walk only from 2-8PM, not noon-8PM as in the past. Just don't want anyone showing up too early. We'll have live painting from John Park and DJ action from my partner LC (Mr. NumberOnederful).

The City of Culver City will present the sixth annual ARTWALK Culver City on Saturday, June 4, 2011 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm. This free, self-guided tour of over thirty-five local art galleries and exhibition spaces is sponsored by The Hammer Museum, ForYourArt, 89.9 KCRW, LA Weekly, Flavorpill and Sony Pictures Entertainment. Jacub Gagnon 'Father Time' - new painting for our Annual Summer Group Show opening this Sat, June 4th

Show will be on view through June 11th and features a special installation from Los Angeles street artist Euth. We'll also be debuting some new artists who will be doing more with us during our 2012 program (Kevin Peterson, Jeremy Hush, Kelly Allen and Jonathan Wayshak) as well as welcoming back some we've not shown in a while due to schedules and such (Derek Weisberg, Fumi Nakamura, and Gustavo Ponce). In addition to that new works will also be on view from HOW & NOSM and David Bray - both new to the Thinkspace family and with big shows coming up with us in 2012. Not to mention new stunners from Jacub Gagnon, Bumblebee, Anthony Clarkson, Derek Gores, Kelly Vivanco, Paul Barnes, Dave MacDowell, and more.

Culver City will be on fire this Saturday, so be sure to swing through if in the area as we'll have live painting from John Park and LC will be on the decks keeping things energized.
