LeBasse had some amazing things on their walls today. Always great to check out what they have going on. Saw Nate Frizzell just hanging out talking with fans. Couple of quick snaps:

Sorry, I didn't. Ugh! I was enjoying the show so much I kept forgetting to take pictures,
It was an owl in the same style as the other pieces from his charcoal show.

Looks like an amazing time! Dan Oh it really is. I was down there for five hours and felt like I could have stayed for five more. I saw a ton of amazing art. My wallet was quivering in my pocket! And the event isn't snobby, which I appreciate because I'm no art snob. It's a lot of casual fans and families as well as familiar faces. They have events for kids, live painting etc. The one thing I wish they could add is maybe a cool panel discussion with panelists including gallery owners, artists etc. That could be amazing! Talking to Beau over at LeBasse is always terrific. Guy just knows a TON about art and always has something insightful to say. For instance, we discussed the Art in the Street exhibit at MOCA for a while, and he had some great points that I hadn't considered when thinking about the show. He also showed me a jaw-dropping Espo piece hanging in the office at the gallery! Just to give you guys a look at how cool (and big) the ArtWalk is... I scanned in the map they had at all the galleries. As you can see, there's 38 galleries within easy walking distance. I pointed out a few of my favorite galleries which many people on these boards would know. If you guys want me to scan in the whole directory of galleries (with addresses/phones) that came with the map I'd be happy to do it... just let me know.
