Kukula has been very busy this past year! Her new oil paintings of decadent dreamy girls continues with the addition of deeper accents of jewel tones and lush backgrounds that would make Marie Antoinette swoon. There is something profoundly sad, yet seductively enchanting in this world where Kukula's muses reside. Here's a sneak peek at one of her new paintings... Kukula's new show opens this Saturday. We have a special treat for the first 100 guests who arrive at the opening, a free set of four 5" x 7"mini-prints. Images of the prints below... I wanted too, but 2 minutes after the preview was out, it was already sold.. It was my favorite too, but I was too late as well. I love the large paintings in this show but hopefully she does a few smaller ones again. This new direction is great. |
