Widely regarded for its influential voice in the emerging art market, SCOPE New York 2013 will feature 55 international galleries alongside 20 Breeder Program galleries, selected by curatorial panel. Hailing from four continents and eighteen countries, SCOPE exhibitors represent the best and brightest contemporary work from emerging and mid-career artists. Long-established as the original incubator for emerging work, SCOPE’s Breeder Program celebrates its 13th year of introducing new galleries to the contemporary market. A remarkable opportunity for unprecedented exposure, Breeder Program alumni include: Peres Projects, John Connelly Presents, Galeria Enrique Guerrero, Daniel Reich Gallery, Bischoff/Weiss, INVISIBLE-EXPORTS, SEVENTEEN, ROKEBY, Taxter Spengemann, Magical Artroom and Spinello Projects, among other notable galleries. Funny you should ask, was about to post a lil' look at one of her new oil paintings for the fair. We'll have one new small oil painting and a charcoal on paper work on view in NYC this March. Her show alongside Linnea Strid opens in LA at our gallery the week prior (posting on that in the week ahead). Our crate is on the way to NYC. Super excited to see the fair myself and check out The Armory as well. We'll have day passes, so please hit us up if you would like to come by one day and check out the fair.
