Think his work has been uninspired the last few shows, this one seems no exception.

Tremendous pieces. I can only imagine how great the Craola letters look in the flesh. I like his incorporation of new animals in this show. Also pretty cool how he felt on celebrating the anniversary of the name Craola in this fashion.

I went to the show last night. House was packed and had a good time with some good people. Got in there before it got crazy packed and was able to take a decent photo set of the pieces. Greg is very obviously a terrific guy. He was all smiles, signing things for people and even doing sketches in books for folks. Class act all the way. This was the second show of his I've seen of his at MK. I hate to say it, but I liked the other show I saw more. I just didn't totally connect with the work this time. Trust me, the work was still insanely detailed and of a very high technical standard. Craola can lay down some paint. There just wasn't as many things that made me say, "Oh wow!" this time. I thought the pieces they chose as prints were also just okay. They had some of the prints framed up as part of the show and to be honest, most people were merely walking past and catching a quick glimpse. But let me say, I really admire Greg's creativity and will continue to look forward to his show and support his work. There's just no arguing that the guy's got skills. This was my favorite piece. The green just went POP, POP, POP and I thought it was pretty inspired.

Yeah probably not my favorite batch of work from him, but still incredible stuff. I love that killer whale piece!

What was hte announcement he was supposed to make? Sorry I missed this question. Not 100% sure, but they did announce a new book. He's going to be back in studio for a signing event I believe. Don't have the details handy but you can ask the gallery.
