Saw this cool little piece at Kinsey/Desforges last night just on the front desk.  Here is a new piece from Korea out of newspaper which I have never seen from him before. Has he done these before?  |

If I could have one piece from him it would be one of these carousel horses, but I wonder how long these will last... This is from his show at Carmichael Gallery. |

My colleague is currently teaching high school students how to create sculpture out of scotch tape after I mentioned to him about the tape sculpture contest a couple of months ago. They will be set up without an announcement on the campus soon, so many students and staff will get pleasant reactions much like Mr. Jenkins' onlookers did. I'll try to snap some photos when they're ready... The teacher told me that many of the students actually enjoyed it together as a group.

That is such a great idea! I have a friend that runs an afterschool program, I'm going to pass this idea on to her and her class! She's always looking for fun/interactive ways to teach her students about art... Mark Jenkins in the Classroom, I love it!
