For me, Momo is one of the most interesting artists working in the outdoor arena.
Was talking to a friend about this piece last night, and apparently the replacement part of the door that is now tagged with 'rue' housed a C215 portrait that someone cut away and stole. you can still see the paint splashes around the area.

Great new, and very affordable, series of 20 or so Momo paintings available on papermonster. MOMO's new series, "Miami Paintings" started as a project while at the Fountainhead Residency in Miami in early January and finished nearly five months later at his studio in New Orleans.
These new paintings are reminiscent of his MOMO Maker series, exploring vocabulary in combination and repetition, however, as each piece is hand painted, there is some room for play between the concepts rules.
Acrylic, Watercolor, and Airbrush on Watercolor Paper. Dimensions: 22 x 30 Inches Signed and Dated, MOMO 2011. $450 each. papermonster.net/artist.php?artist=5

Choosing one was a struggle. I really had to stop myself from buying 2 or 3. Incredible value.
Someone needs to buy number 19 though. It's calling me.

I have been following MOMO for a while now and I absolutely agree with Svenman - he is one of the most exciting outdoor artists out there (well for me that is). Some fantastic pieces in today's drop.

I am struggling to complete the payment through the Paypal. My CC is playing up for whatever reason. Top favourites are gone (thanks to you guys) but still interested in one piece. Let's see tomorrow if its meant to be...Don't have strength to be on the phone right now. However I'm happy with my MOMO collection. I need to start to post more and share some of my stuff.

It was nice to see that he revisited last year's Fame Fest print with the new pieces: Btw, at this year's Fest, he did a wood sculpture from the piece at the very top of this thread. Totally love it, but had to pass sadly...

did you go to fame murdock? some friends of mine did. sounds like the momo pieces, particularly the ceramic interchangeable pieces went down well.
