Why is Biskup painting portraits of The Fresh Prince?

I wrote a little something and have pictures up from Tim's recent Tokyo show over at Boing Boing if anyone is interested. I think there are still some nice, affordable pieces left at the gallery!

Last I checked it was available. Both those paintings on wood were *really* exceptional.
Here's part of an email about the show with a link to see what's available (prices are in yen, but that is easy to convert online)

"If you couldn't make it to Tokyo for the opening of Tim's new show with T9G you missed a great party. You also missed out on buying any of the art because it was only available to buyers who showed up in person. Well, now you can view (& purchase!) the artwork online. Check out the Stitch Gallery blog <http://stctokyo.exblog.jp/10890116/> for images and more info."

Sick. The new 8" bronze Pollard. Going to be expensive though as the last bronze toy, the 2" Iki was $300.

when guys say it's 8'', it's probably only really 6'' - so it may be cheaper than you think!! ;)

That Pollard is bad ass. Tim's blog lists him at 7". Won't be cheap with an edition of only 44 :'(

Price not bad, considering it's bronze and size.

Id like to see the bronze edition with the different patina.

Good size bronze in a small run of 44 at $600 is pretty sweet.

Loving the larger piece in this pic from the Tokyo Show.

That's my favorite piece, absolutely beautiful.

Reminds me somewhat of LeRoy Neimans "Femlin" character from Playboy.
