Some of the new stuff Dan May has been working on for his upcoming show at Copro Nason is pretty amazing. The details are incredible. Check this.

He's also working on some collabs with Nathan Spoor for the show (undone)

I don't have anything big from him... Just a custom with small painting.

Dan May has become one of my most loved artists.
He went as far as to contact the owner of the painting "A Tasty Affair" which was done years ago for me as I was searching for it. Unfortunately, the owner isn't ready to let it go.
He then offered to do a once-off print of it specially for me. To accompany the custom piece. :)

Soon, I shall own one of his originals.

I just got the email with the preview for his show at Copro. Is this the "official" preview or was there one sent out earlier for people who specifically asked for this show? I ask this because the only thing I've ever purchased from Copro was prints and I don't ever remember asking to be on any lists. They just send me emails whenever there is a show going on which is cool. I just want to make sure that I'm going to receive the preview for the Hi-Fructose Group Art Exhibition in July when it first comes out. I have to up my chances of scoring a KMNDZ piece. ;)

The first pic you posted(Luminous Liaison) was the best I thought.

A very recent (in fact yesterday) interview with Dan

http://lumper.blogspot.com/2008/08/dan-may-interview.html

Copro Nason will be releasing a DM limited edition print ni due time. And most importantly, Dan's first solo at Copro Nason, February 2009!

I especially love the first one you posted... The colors in the sky feel dreamlike, like when you wake up to take the dog out at 4am and you're half in half out. =)

Catching that wispy energy ball thing is neat, too... Real curious work. First time I've heard of him, very cool.
