this artist posted his work randomly on KR and i was blown away (too used to seeing weird stuff from self-proclaimed 'artists' on there) - he was a breath of fresh air.

I think he's got some skills. And to be signed to so many gallery shows shows that he's on the right track. Eyes remind me a lot of Lori Earley which i'm sure everyone has noticed before. But big eyes are more of a manga influence definitely not a Earley copyright. Something about the wideness lengthwise or the placement must be doing it for me....

There are a lot of things I like about these pieces...namely the way he paints the settings and then the glass and a lot of the other details like the dresses, outfits and hair. They are very intricate. But for whatever reason I am not too keen on the faces of the majority of them. However, I think it will only get better from here on out.

And p.s. it's hands down better than anything I could ever think about drawing/painting.

I also saw his stuff on the KR forum and have been looking everywhere for more info on him. What other names does he go by? where did you find information on him?

Yeah, I wish I would have found out about him a bit earlier, he's way too busy for any commission work right right now. Oh well, I have one drawing that I absolutely love and hopefully I can pick up another one later in the year.
