Joe had posted on his facebook page a short while ago that his studio had been broken into late at night while he was working and he had to fend off the intruders. He said that was part of what led him to New York.

why do people always assume New York means NYC? No offense sleep but I've been to many places in NY where bears out populate humans.

True. It's just that that photo looks like it was taken in a big city. I suppose it could be anywhere in the state of NY.

An interesting turn of events. Looks like he'll be having another show in New York in February with AFA.
"This exhibition marks the beginning of AFA's exclusive representation of Mr. Sorren's artwork in New York, New Orleans and France."
