Nobody can capture mood with light like Edwin. He's got an incredible talent-- genius!

Is this the right thread? I see Edwin as more "Contemporary."

I agree... I'd move a couple dozen people out of this section if I had carte blanche. I know they themselves would rather be listed in Contemporary, for certain.

Emerging master artist and so young.
It will be amazing to watch his career.
The images make me long for my childhood summers at the beach.
Long hot, sunny, hazy days that went on forever.

This is fantastic...I had this exact T&C surf shirt growing up, shorts aren't far off either, and the behavior for sure me as well. Such a wonderful piece, inquiry being sent now! Not mentioning the talent he has depicting natural sunlight.

Ushiro's use of colour is amazing.

I love the effect of sunlight he gets - it's stunning and reminds me of the warm glows of leaked light in film photography.

I've been collecting "urban" art for a few years but i'm slowly getting more and more disillused with it all - there are too many artists with not enough talent and the commercalisation and exploitation of it has become a joke. This has led me to look more at other scenes and artists and I love Edwin's work (among others, i think Tessar Lo's work is great too).

I'm looking to buy a piece of Ushiro's work and have had a look online and found Nucleus, Sloane and Le Basse and got in contact with them and they have some great pieces available. Does anyone know of any pieces available on the secondary market?

Here is Edwin's latest exploration of the unearthly light of his memories, from the LeBasse group show for the Culver City Artwalk.
