Anyone making the trip?
There are art fairs popping up like college girls on ladies night.
We decieded to bow out on the event front this year and go to enjoy ourselves.
If you are down, leave a note. If you know of anything special going on leave a note.
I'll start
Ahol Sniffs Glue is setting up a popup inside Gregg Shienbaum Fine Art on NE 2nd Ave in Wynwood. He is setting up a crane grab game, like you see in game rooms at the movies etc. Inside will be custom fabric toys. Pay $5 per try, score a toy.
UR1 Festival www.UR1festival.com
Rock, Hip Hop, House, Techno, Dubstep, Indie, and some real art involvement. Tickets are rather inexpensive for a 2 day festival.
Like $160 ish for steerage or $300 for VIP.
You can get in cheaper if you agree to be in by 2pm.

I'll be there. Haven't looked into the events yet but definitely hitting up the main fair, SCOPE, and PULSE.

Aside from the main fair I think NADA is the strongest of the group.

It appears I will be making the trip should my wife be able to rework or her work schedule for family matters , so I am not excited yet but looks good

Cooper Cole will be exhibiting at The Miami Project during basel. This is the inaugural year for the fair and it features a great line up of galleries. We will be presenting artists Sara Cwynar, Chris Duncan, Maya Hayuk, Anders Oinonen, and Jen Stark.

Just spent the night in Miami. Drove through Wynwood. a BUNCH of new murals by new (to me) artists. Looks AWESOME!

I will be in attendance this year with painters (Jana Brike from Riga, Latvia and Edward Robin Coronel from Austin, texas).

Very excited for this year's Basel events, mostly because after attending the past few years I'm proud to announce that Spoke will be making our Miami debut! I'll be showing at Scope, alongside some great folks like White Walls, Sloan Fine Art, Ivory and Black, Thinkspace and Corey Helford. We'll be at SCOPE at Booth D15 with mini-solo exhibits from Brian M. Viveros and Amy Sol - thread on both shows elsewhere on the forum with a ton of sneak peek shots. We'll have 12 new works from Viveros and 8 new works from Sol. So many artists in town doing walls too, this is going to be one busy year down in Miami!
