I am a new fan of Faile, which is unfortunately late and going to be expensive :-/

I'm not aiming for an original, unless the patricks offer good prices during the June launch. From my experience from the last FairQ sale, I will be lucky to even get my hands on a print.

I now own only one print Bunny Boy Blue. Have yet to take it to the framer. Will take a pic once I frame it.

And these are what I wish I can get my hands on:

Should have bought some prints when you (rhinomilk) were posting about them in the KR board. Love your Bret print, mate!

Absolutely love Faile!

I was lucky enough to win an OG from their last launch. It's REALLY tiny though, but I love it. The colors pop in person

Also have a Faile Mary in Black

Used to have a Get Acquainted POW Edition and Strange Encounters, but I sold them because even though I loved them, I knew they'd never make the wall.

OMG. You two have the Seduction of the Mask artworks. I am sooooo jealous right now!

RM, how much do you think your Seduction is worth now? Is it a print or OG?

Anyone knows whether it is worth getting a purple Torment? Is it worth paying US$1900 for one?? I really like the piece.

1900 seems a bit high for that particular image (I don't think it is one of the more popular ones) and it's size. expressobeans has a record of some that have sold on ebay (although it's still hard to pin a price on the piece because Faile prices seem to fluctuate alot and one hasn't been on the 'bay for awhile)

I don't think it's a bad price if you like the image. What's the edition size of it? Do you know the size? Doesn't look like Faile's pricing are coming down any time soon. There will only be more and more of their big originals at auctions in the next year or so, and with each one I'm guessing prices will keep going up.... June's release will be VERY interestin!

^ that's true... this shows the last ebay results. so i guess 1900 isn't too out of line - hard to believe that it was released about a year ago for $300, but i guess that's how it goes:
http://www.expressobeans.com/public/detail.php/54648

and from the last two releases... faile seems to price their stuff at the going rate (if not slightly higher)

Cheers R & R for the info.

I like the image of Torment, but was shocked that they were initially sold for US$300. Given that, I will rather keep the US$1900 and hope for a shot on a new print in June from Faile themselves.

Or I could buy a Trash & Royale from BAST.

That's the problem. Like Rhinomilk I believe stated, Faile tends to price their new releases in accordance to market values. I think during their last release nearly every print was over $1000. I'm guessing this release they will all be above $1500.

I ordered a Butterfly Girl II in silver and purple in Dec 2006 for 320 USD , but it got lost on the way to me :(

They were really good about it and sent me a Shimmering Red version, which I am not so keen on, but I should be lucky to have one at all with the price rises.
