That's right. It was at Okay Mountain in Austin. I had bought something from there before, so I got tipped off to the Keyes early. I also got a nice set of Lister superheroes on paper from that show.

Surprised that everyone is so unfamiliar with the Keyes image. It's a great paper piece, maybe the best he's done.

Nicely done. Both Keyes were solid pieces priced fairly for the buyer and seller.

Wow, great FS thread! Can I ask what the Keyes sold for? 10k I believe. At least that was the asking price.

not a shill cause I don't know this guy at all.. nor have I ever transacted with him. however, outerborough does many things right in my mind..
a) he has a great eye as everything in his collection is quality and sells works that people actually want.. as you can see by responses to a sales thread..
b) he prices things right.. he knows the market well.. I think his prices are fair to both buyer and seller to be honest.. I will not quote his original prices on the keyes or others, but, I think they were extremely fair for both parties and that is unusual.. most sellers start super high and hope to draw people in and then maybe counter or something... refreshing not to have to play games..
anyway, i hope to buy from you in the future.. if nothing else, job well done, you are a class act sir..

One last push to make some money for my brother. This thread will close Sunday. Anything that doesn't sell by then will return to the collection. Also, I have a bunch of small originals, prints and ephemera up on Ebay by the likes of Fafi, Herbert Baglione, Brendan Monroe, Andrew Schoultz, Shepard Fairey, Dain, Skewville, Richard Colman and others. Most starting at $10-$50. Please take a look: www.ebay.com/sch/djemar/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25&_trksid=p3692
