She shares an interest in abstraction, geometry and the intersection of visual arts with music and science with protean ambitions and loads of artistic output. The Guardian (UK) said last year "This rising German star conceives her drawings like musical scores or algorithms with spiralling lines and arrows that ebb and flow across the page" www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/2012/apr/12/artist-of-week-jorinde-voigt. She has a print currently available on Texte zur Kunst site for 295 Euro. www.textezurkunst.de/editionen/ and although the uncharacteristically jarring Mehretu predictably sold out first, Tivanator thinks this is a pick...

The German who is better than Auerbach in almost every way(IMO), while having explored some similar territory, is Carsten Nicolai. One of the most talent men in the world.
Mehretu has been doing work like that for some time. Very Twombly-esque, with the mark being the object, not used to depict an object.

Really like her work. Can anyone point me to where I could find her work?

I inquired at Galerie Klüser in Munich and Maria Justus sent me list of available works, jpgs and prices. Minus the VAT, prices seem especially reasonable. Here are the contacts: Georgenstr. 15, Munich, Tel +49 89 384081 0; Email: office@galerieklueser.com and website: www.galerieklueser.com
