Anyone have contact info that might actually facilitate a response? I've sent countless messages via their website messaging system over the past couple months and haven't received a single response back. I assume it's because the wait list is already long enough and it's not worth the effort. Still, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks, bud. Def a bit irritated with the poor, or complete lack of customer support. But considering the pseudo-gallery, internet-based nature of this place, it doesn't surprise me. I'd think such a strong artist could find a better place to exhibit her work.

Did they post the preview already? If not, please tell me where did you get those images? I know I'm on the list, emailed them months ago.

Nicoletta sent me the images for a little teaser that we did and we'll be posting an interview soon with more images but to answer the second part of your question - the preview IS out. I had to remind him a couple times before he sent it to me so I would contact Richard soon.

prices at rgg are usually higher than the rest of the market.... nice body of work. framing compliments nicely too. thanks for posting the link. i didn't bother to ask for the preview as i knew prices would be silly.

actually i think prices aren't that bad. these pieces are bigger than her usual work i believe...plus don't forget to subtract 15% if you don't live in the UK. he added VAT

To give everyone a bit of clarity on the situation as there seems to be some confusion here.
We have been sending the preview list to the people who have requested it in the order in which we got them from the start of this week, so about 3 days. Some of these collectors have been on the list for well over 2 years and include some very high end institutions and collectors. There are over 250 people on the preview/waiting list. There are 17 pieces in the show.
As for the show images will be posted on the websites and our flickr group after the opening, as they are will all our exhibitions. I am not sure why there is the perception of the gallery as a pseudo-gallery or internet based. We have 2 gallery locations in the UK with over 7000sq ft of gallery space in them, along with 5 more in the USA. I hope that helps clear up some of the confusion.
All the works will be on the website from Friday for everyone to see.
We hope to see lots of you at the opening next Saturday
Regards
RGG

and include some very high end institutions and collectors. why is this relevant at all?

welcome RGG. i too am not sure why someone thought you were a "psuedo" gallery although i'm not terribly familiar with your gallery since i live in the U.S. perhaps they thought you were only online? i was surprised that you had some U.S. locations though. maybe you are very busy but i think that i have heard from several people that the email response is not the greatest sometimes. lovely show. good luck.

I have been drooling over Nicolettas' images for years now, I feel that the works in this show her best so far. I'm not surprised that there are >250 people on the waiting list. Thanks to RGG for filling us in here, but I'm wondering what "very high end institutions" are (would a retirement home qualify? ;D;)).

I agree, oldfart, that this is her best show to date, which actually speaks volumes for the work because some of her past pieces were incredibly striking. I used to own three - but, they were casualties of the collection. I feel her work has a strong connection to ryden's work but, it is somewhat more cohesive in theme - recurring characters in surreal settings with having a bit more focus to them. Somewhat simpler - but in a way, though less intricate, just as loud in their voices both singularly and as one. He skill is profound - I love to see her to a very large scale piece - at one time, a gallery owner nearly had her talked into a commission for me but, it didn't pan out with her schedule. She regularly does work as an illustrator for childrens' books but, that work is lighter in theme and also with a digital element, which I don't particularly care for.

There are 10 different print available from the gallery, 350 pounds UK, edition of 50. I haven't seen images of them though. It's possible that they have been previously available (?).
