along those same lines though, does anyone have a guess as to what Sol's To you From my View (framed) would go for these days? There's one on ebay my girlfriend has been watching but it's unframed and that's kind of keeping her away plus it's in the UK so shipping would be pretty high (especially now the exchange rate has started to go back up). Plus that one doesn't seem to be moving in a hurry at the listed price since it's been up for a few months i think.

Any idea on the value of a Luke Chueh Mono_Ram (1 0f 10) from his first solo show in LA at Black Market?

I was thinking about selling my Chris Mars "Government Rays" piece and I'd like to know what it's value may be. I bought it for $6500

totally trivial (isn't that what this thread is for?): but i was at my cousins place the other day and he had two small luke chueh prints on his wall (one of an image i'd never seen before)... looked it up and one is "I asked for scrambled" and "smoke". just wondering what those two are worth .

Hello to all, I need help in getting a price check for Miss Audrey's earlier work, 'Otoko' - 2003 and Oasobi (2 pieces) - 2003 . I've been sitting on this thought for some time, but i need feedback from informative people like artchival! I'm helping out a family friend trying to sell these pieces, not use ebay, and to keep the sell amongst fans/collectors. thank you thank you.

I would say the price would be pretty low, meaning in the hundreds unless you find a hard core Kawasaki collector who want to collect these for historical reasons as these look very different from her newer work.

I'd say these two pieces have some historical significance, as they are from her first-ever show at Rooms Cafe, which was held while she was in her second year of art school. While they might not be as refined as some of her later work, they are from a pivotal period and display the essential core values of where she came from.
Frankly, I'd hold onto them... if only for the bragging rights of having been prescient enough to acquire those pieces in 2003, before anyone had the slightest idea who she was – not to mention how much more they will be appreciated after the speculators have finished churning her more accessible work.

Thanks for the feedback, Sleepboy, Commandax. Both views bring up important points; Today, these pieces are not worth nearly as much as her current works. But maybe in the long run, (hopefully like Ryden) they will go up in value. So the best thing to do is to hold on to them..... Problem is, my friend is in need of funds now. I offered to buy one piece, but i cannot afford to buy them all. I would recommend my friend to price them at 2k-3k each.... Let me know if you guys think its too much. When i get the ok, i'm going to post these for sale on this board, Expressobeans, and any other boards you guys can recommend. I appreciate it!

For the two Kawasaki pieces...the male figures are usually less sought after than the females, so you'll get a better price for the second one. I also think the second one is more appealing.
Beside the look, the size is also a factor. A lot of her earlier paintings were much smaller than the ones she does now. How big are they?

I think they'll be around 8-9k depending on what color. There's one on ebay without the OF box and without the original OF bags around the hands (which is the easy part to soil) so even though it's says new, it's near mint at best. I've heard of a few new in boxes changing hands recently at that price range.
