Just check the webstore and could successfully add 211 into my cart. Thoughts? Is that a sound $36,000 investment? I'm strongly considering it.
Doesn't surprise me really this hasn't sold out so quickly. Did people honestly think it would sell out in a day?

Well considering that Fur Girl sold out within hours for a run of 500, and $500 a pop, it does seem surprising. I am not comparing Josh to Ryden at all, they are very different artists with very different voices. But these two prints had a strong following for a January release.

hehe pretty much like everyone else then looking good andy. +1....love the way the piece accents the wall color. Andy, did you paint the room based around that piece? Seems like a perfect match to me. A subtle difference in tone, perfect.

I received mine and I must admit, I was a bit disappointed by the quality. You can really notice the image against the paper, compared to the perfectly executed 'Watcher 3'. It has a sheen to it which distracted me. This particular print is not the gorgeous Hahnemuhle Velvet Paper which I am used to with the Keyes prints. Perhaps it was economical to use a different grade due to the large edition? Anyway, I am deeply appreciative of having number 25, and I am grateful for the sale. I just wish it was done on the same paper. I guess considering how wonderfully poignant the image is and it how terrific it will be framed, it is a tiny opinion in the long run.

Haha, I just received the great news that my print apparently gets shipped to Australia. Never thought this would happen to me. I am taking bets as on how long it will take until it reaches its real destination.

I just wish it was done on the same paper. I guess considering how wonderfully poignant the image is and it how terrific it will be framed, it is a tiny opinion in the long run. I thought the same thing actually and wrote David. Here's the response I got back from him. It was interesting that the paper is actually the same but I definitely agree that the Watcher 3 had a more "real" feel to it and less poster. Anyways here's the response: We've used this paper now for both "Guardian I" and "The Call I", and as you can see, it creates a light sheen to the ink. This paper is from the same German company that we had been using since the beginning (Hahnemühle) and the quality is the same- it actually costs more and is slightly different. We've decided to try this out for a while, and we have received a lot of positive feedback on it. Some folks prefer this over the previous paper. A lot of collectors also like it because it is a bit more durable than what we had been using before. I guess it just comes down to person preference with this. That's where it's always nice for people to share their perspective, because we are always open to hearing it. I'm not sure which paper we will use for our next giclee release, but we're taking everything into consideration at this time.

That's awful, but now you've got an "australia address" there, maybe you should get that audrey print sent there and bundle it back to the states :-)
