Those pics don't do it justice djnologo, the herringbone work on his jacket is just amazing. He must have the patience of a saint.
I never did find out what they are signing. Any ideas?

These two pieces were acquired by the Museum following the 'Due Date' exhibition. The Swoon is also in their permanent collection along with a selection of prints. I'm chuffed that my local Museum had the balls to start collecting work in this vein. it took a lot of convincing of a lot of people to free up funds and exhibition space from the right people and they deserve a lot of credit for doing so. Black Rat were also especially helpful in enabling them to begin to realise such ambition. I only hope that they are able to continue to do so despite local Government intervention and cuts.

Holy shit! Just saw the newest piece (a study for it)
As much of a leap as these latest works are vs his previous work this newest piece is even better.

As many of you know I am participating in Gowanus Open Studios. I will be releasing a limited edition of each of these prints, 10 each. Each print will be $275, and can only be purchased by coming to my studio. I am able to take credit cards now, so bringing cash or check is not necessary, though cash is always appreciated. Prints will be tubed and come with a certificate of authenticity. My studio hours on Saturday will be 12 - 5:20. My studio hours on Sunday will be 12 - 6. My show Liner notes opens at 6 on Saturday so I must close my doors early. My studio is located at 183 Lorraine Street in Brooklyn, Studio #71.    |
