I am not sure if it is frowned upon or not, but there are plenty of sites that give away free textures. Try www.Bittbox.com

No need to go searching for paper like that, I can teach you how to make aged paper. Its cool using found paper, but if you cant find any knowing how to make it is a great thing to know.

thecreep; that sounds really cool, actually! I'd love to know how you do it. I'm currently in a printmaking class and I'm sure aged paper would come in really handy when doing some of these things.

I think what I am going to do is create a tutorial video. I am sure more people would like to learn, so this would be the easiest way to teach them. I am working on my personal site this month and will make sure to add it to the tutorials section. I'll let you know when it is finished.

hello all, kind of intimidating as i'm a big fan of many of the artists who frequent this board but I felt this was the best way to get objective feedback/criticism to help me improve. Thanks for letting me share! Attachments:

Steve, that's bloody amazing!!! Thanks, droow! Glad you like it my friend Are you done painting it Steve? Not yet, hh. At the moment its just a simple primer white. Next step for me is to lay a base coat color, then use a wash, followed by dry brushing .
