Love Hurts is up with Dreweatts and there far to aggressive on the estimate of £50-70k im guessing that was just to get the consignment, but I wouldn't be reading anything into that. A Banksy bubble I cant see it , there havnt really been any huge moves in his original prices over the last 2 years, there hasn't been any work from primary for sometime so I would say any increase is probably justified.

Typical nonsense from Dreweatts. Finger in the air with an price pulled from god knows where. I'd be interested to know if the seller has:
1. Bought directly from POW
2. Bought on the secondary
And in both cases given any indication of what pricing they were expecting for the piece before Dreweatts proposed the estimate.
A print from a run of 16 selling for over £50,000! Utterly bizarre

The seller would have purchased this directly from POW without a doubt and what there thinking was putting this in with an estimate like that who knows ! Looks like it passed as expected.

i'm having a hard time believing they didn't put some kind of barrier over it to stop just this kind of thing from happening. especially with all that press the millionaire brought to it.

Apparently they did. Apparently they covered it in anti graffiti coating. Apparently they do not realise that they have just entered the 'Ultimate Irony' top ten...
