Saw the four porcelain sculptures from Mark at the Riverside Art Museum tonight for the Baby Tattooville show including this piece. I haven't seen it before, maybe it's new?

I just bought Marions Thin clown print. Could not pass that up for such a great price. I am seriously kicking myself for not registering to go soon. i finally would of had my own Ryden original .

And look at that frame! I wonder what size house (mansion?) could display such a piece effectively? I have at least one wall that could handle this, but it would overwhelm most of my other art. On the other hand, if I won one of those stupidly large lotteries that we all read about, this is exactly the kind of art that I would pursue. IMO, this is one of the strongest images that Ryden has created in quite a while. I love the above water, below water contrast.

Then again, if I could afford this, I probably would have a wall big enough. But on my wish list too if I win the lotto!

I love the bronze and other than the new painting above this size would fit in the house.

Not really how I'd envision Portland either. My favorite part of the article was the photo of the new piece. I'm sure that's no happenstance. Perhaps he's heading towards a new destination with his work. I'm curious whether that piece is part of an upcoming show or more singular.
