I like most of Brett's pieces, but this one is especially nice. i have to echo this. i really like the vibe i get from this one. looks great. |

Thanks all! It's a beaut of a piece. Really happy with it. It's 18 inches squared, oil on board. Brett was a great guy, really approachable and kept me posted throughout the whole process including work in progress shots.

Some new pieces up for sale at The Outsiders (can't figure out how to post an image here, sorry --- take a look at www.theoutsiders.net/artist/brett-amory) and in the newsletter, the news that Amory will have a show at Lazarides (rather than The Outsiders) in 2013. Awesome! |

what's the price range for his work? As usual, it depends on the size and the venue. The 30" x 30" pieces in his S.F. Exhibit were $4K, the 36" x 36" pieces at his current N.Y. Show are $5K. He does do smaller pieces and studies for some of his larger pieces that are quite a bit less expensive. He also paints some very large pieces that are priced accordingly. IMO, given the quality of his art, Brett's reputation, and his evolution over the last few years, the pieces he sells are very reasonably priced. I acquired one of the pieces from his current show (Williamsburg Bridge), and before that picked up a smaller 12" x 12" oil on board, and have every intention of trying to add one or two more pieces to my collection. I might also add that Brett and I have a had a few, short email exchanges, and I have found him to be easy to connect with and very professional. |
