I like the surrealist feeling Henrik portrays in his work and I really really want the above to be his next print.

The brush detail in the building is incredible. I want to see more of it, a lot more, as the print has a little too much negative space to compensate for the rest of the composition. The floating subject's neck and hands look great, too, but everything else about her appears more flat to me, especially where her blouse meets her legs. I'm not really sure what's going on in the right and bottom right side of the painting, either (is the painting not finished yet . . . ?). Absolutely great work nonetheless, but not a print I would purchase, unfortunately.

ANother untitled....not bad I like his work a lot but I can't get past the arms and that elongated hand on this one. This wouldn't be a print I'd be interested in. He seems to have some issues on portion control in the hands/arms, legs/feet in several paintings however he seems to have fixed this in what I assume are his more recent works.

Henrik could've painted her a little chunky; I think the anatomy in the second Untitled is almost spot on (with the exception of the position of her nostrils, which is the only thing that mildly bugs me).
He has said before that he doesn't paint with hyper realism in mind, which is one of the reasons why I like his work. Enough detail is represented that it gets the message across, while still preserving the dreamy quality of the subject matter. In either case, I think his anatomy painting skills are getting even better and I hope he continues to push himself and release more prints.
