An Italian museum director has pledged to burn two or three artworks each week until the Ministry of Culture reverses its plan to slash the country's arts budget. Antonio Manfredi, director of the Casoria Contemporary Art Museum, said he felt "very, very bad" each time he torched an artwork, but that drastic action was needed.
