not sure if Francesco Deiana already has his thread here, but knowing quite few people here are already familiar with his work and own some of it, I thought he should have one.. so, here are some of his recent works he did for 2 group shows - Space//Form & Domesticated Souls:

for anyone that is interested or follows Francesco. I would be interested to hear any thoughts, opinions, or insight into this more figurative work. I was a bit surprised when I saw this example at the recent Space/Form exhibition.

I think that on their own they're pretty ugly and uninspired but they could kind of work when shown in a cluster with his other styles I guess. During my short communication with him he seemed pretty exasperated by the length of time it took him to produce the mask pieces which is why I guess he's moved on to simpler compositions. I do like the abstract in the bottom left above though.

i would agree that they work pretty well as groupings. i really like the simple geometric/green duo. and the bottom grouping is interesting to me as well.

I would have to agree with the heads being ugly as well. I was more surprised that this style was submitted for that particular group show given the theme, which his detailed geometric works fit perfect.
some of the above clusters are alright. I do like the bleach works a good bit. being that he is relatively new to showing his work, I would say he is doing fine.
what afro mentioned about the tedious time consuming process for the bigger works makes sense especially since I believe he has some other obligations of his time aside from strictly doing his own work.
