Ana will be opening a gorgeous new show at Roq La Rue on October 9th. At the risk of sounding hype-y I have to say this is by far her most refined work to date. Here are a couple sneak peeks!

I found out about Ana through john purlias website when i was searching for whoever had the princess sputnik piece, back in early 2005 or so and I came across a few of Ana's peices, i was like cool, a Mark Ryden that is possibly in my budget range. I then later found she was from my home town of Burbank. i was very stoked to find she was one of my old elementry school friends(3rd -5th grade) Even back in elementry school, she was very talented, i remember the swans painting she did for show and tell back then. So thanks to John i recconected with her and bought my first peice from her "there there" show www.anabagayan.com/Paintings/ThereThere/swat.htmand this one www.billyshirefinearts.com/08Bagayan/chuck.htmlI got this one for a friend www.flickr.com/photos/2winks/1832661212/in/set-72157602862019339/she also was really awesome at doing some drawing commisions for me of her paintings for my other friends. shes super sweet and awesome! always has been svenman you were there at the orphans show? wish i knew would have loved to meet up with you.

hey welcome to the board panditha! yeah i did go to the orphans opening. i had a few fun filled days in la erelier this year. ana's show was the last show i saw in a 14 hour art marathon that andrew hosner was kind enough to escort david macdowell and myself on. one of the best days i've ever spent, and ana's show was the perfect ending.

Does anyone (or Ana Bagayan, if you're willing to answer) know what brand paint she uses? Thanks for taking the time to answer.

I think almost more important than any new works she may have for sale is the great work she is doing for the Lunch Bunch project. lunchbunchco.blogspot.com/They run out of money every week, but still manage to keep going. Ana made a post on Twitter letting people know they are having a print auction in order to fund the Lunch Bunch mission: Mere and I are organizing a print auction for Lunch Bunch. If you'd like to donate a single print, please email me! anabagayan@gmail.com I have donated a couple of prints and am doing my best to spread the word. I hope a few people from this forum decide to donate prints as well.

thanks for reminding me josh. just made a small donation. this thing that ana and mere do is so great. $10 pays for lunches for 5 people. it would be great if all the regular members here could make a contribution so that lunch is on the artchival forum next week. if you make a contribution please post here so i can lay on some good karma

Sorry, I didn't see there was a discussion going on here. Virtu, if you sent Ally a print, she should still have it. I'm trying to arrange a time to pick them up from her. If you want to send more print, we would love to have them! Just email me for the shipping address. Anabagayan@gmail.com
We've gotten so many great prints so far! Thank you so much! Everyone has been so generous and Mere and I really appreciate it. I've never done this before and we're really excited about having the auction.
