Hi all - I will be doing a little European adventure and travelling to all the following great places in a little while (Berlin, Krakow, Prague, Budapest Vienna, Split & Dubrovnik) and was looking for any art/gallery related tips suggestions etc. that would be worth checking out. Any other personal recommendations are also more then welcome. Thanks in advance. Ducky

In Berlin, hang out around oranienburger straße, it has the Kunsthaus Tacheles. Krakow, go to Aushwitz-Berkenau and fuck the art, then go drink cheap vodka round the square. Prague is The Imperial Cafe, truly wonderful, then walk around a city that has never suffered a bombardment for a millennium and enjoy the way the buildings work. Budapest? The baths and the long, long boulevards. Can't help with the others.

I've only been to Dubrovnik, but you probably already know to walk the old city walls. Pretty memorable.

There's Strychnin Gallery in Friedrichshain Berlin. Heard something was up with Tacheles...maybe closed. Check it out anyway. If it is there's always great curry wurst and pomme frites across the street at the orange Imbiss.
