It is difficult to say without seeing them in person but my initial reaction was good. They look really nice in these pictures, I'm enjoying the colors. It says they are paint, tape and soot, is that correct? Thank you for posting them. I will look him up to see if I can learn more about it. Where did you see these? Are they for sale?

Thanks for the reply. The colors definitely make the pieces stand out. You are correct in these pieces are acrylic paint, window soot, and adhesive strips on wood panel. I was researching other artists and came across an image of his art. From there I was able to locate his website and found some more images of his work. The pieces were at et al Projects (etalprojects.com), and were available for sale. I live in TX so did not make the show. You can e-mail Lorber directly though at ' julian@julianlorber.com '. I want to make note that I am not a friend or have any monetary interest/relation to him. Just thought his work was interesting enough to share.
