Highbrow, I've actually emailed twice and called twice. Both times, I was told that the person I was talking to could not help me and she'd pass along the message. The artwork isn't very expensive but I am just ticked. I mean, if they were promised to someone else and that fell through the cracks or if a favored buyer wanted them, fine...just tell me. Give me closure and let me move on; don't ignore me.

Advise them that it's not in their interest to behave in such a way. If they fail in this simple matter then .... well move on, and maintain a record of what, when etc - until now. Shameful behaviour should not be met head on. (life's too short) good luck... btw !!

Im thinking do 'want' lists ever get smaller ? or does everyone else also tick someone off..... only to replace them with other art you desire ?

+1. Except I am now done with most of my work. I just needed to NOT be busy... if this makes sense...

I'm sort of new to this, so my list is growing all the time, but I have noticed once I purchased my Amy Sol, I feel satisfied and less manic in the way that if I pick up another one of her works, I will feel lucky but I don't feel the necessity to. Not sure if that makes sense though.

My list seems to grow AND get more expensive. With artisits that I really like I always seem to want more. This makes me feel like I made the right decision in buying a piece.
Other than that I'm really thinking about Martin Wittfooth a lot. I'm really looking forward to his upcoming show at Roq and seeing what he has in store for us next year. I was super impressed with the latest work I've seen from him.

It's funny how a certain "Artchival" member decided to PM me some nasty messages months ago (he apologized for being horrible, but it still kinda stings) and it turns out that it was his son that was trying to get me to hook him up with certain art last night (at a very popular CASH AND CARRY SHOW). What a small world.

Jemappellekat isnt it great how the world turns and always comes back full circle. On a side note I am thinking how long until my Frizzell ships, my invoice said three day fedex freight COME ON Frizzell and I had some deep discussion last THUR at the Garfield event. We are going to telepathically make sure that it hurries up. But wasn't the exhibit extended for a few more days?

Being outbid on a print, a designer toy, and missing out in the Banksy lottery has 'saved' me £1.2k ($1.8k).

i'm thinking why did i ever procrastinate on this rare opportunity to purchase a high quality old drawing piece by McGee, only to be told that the collector had changed his mind and decided to keep it for good. I was soooooo READY to pull this trigger on this piece after seeing this piece. Only time will tell if a piece like this will surface up again soon. I'm still distraught over this... Wished that I had said yes to accept his offer last night!!! But I know he was being genuine guy and it was pretty difficult to let this piece go as he was pursing a nice piece by another well known prominent artist.
