this is why if i ship things flat i cut out a piece of plywood and attach the item to it so that it's unbendable. kinda a pain but at least i know it won't bend. i'm getting depressed just looking at the drawing

All shipping companies are not 100%, so you really have to spend the extra time and care to package things with as much protection as possible. The USPS is the biggest culprit in damaging my shipments. I ship paintings framed with glass. I usually use FEDEX or UPS overnight. Somewhere in my paranoid mind, I figure the longer the packages are in other people's hands, the more chance they can be damaged. As a last chance shipping method, I've used USPS Overnight shipping and basically just held my breath until I got word that everything arrived in one piece.

just got home to my new easo a. print Virile Influenza arriving TOTALLY JICKED, I'M SO UPSET! why did the postman even leave it...it says DO NOT BEND, RIGHT WHEN THE HUGE BEND IS!!! agrrrrrrrrrrg Yeah that ones f**ked. Did you get that one directly from Esao or off of eBay. If you got it from Esao he might be able to replace it for you. This is why I like tubes for prints if possible because the Postal Service will find a way to bend two pieces of cardboard every time. Never had a tube torn up (knock on wood). Just so the both of you don't shoot your poor mailman, it was most likely damaged in the processing plant or shipping to your post office.

Esao replaced a print I purchased from him last year that got mangled by the USPS. I just received my purchase from him yesterday, and I would say he does much more of a packing job than he use to. I am sure he will take care of you.

I going to try to stop buying now so I can justify getting something big at the end of the year.

I going to try to stop buying now so I can justify getting something big at the end of the year. I'm trying to do that now too. It's hard to stop when you've become addicted but I need to build up some more cash for one last really good piece this year. this end of 2008 is gonna put me in the poorhouse. audrey, josh keyes, craola x 2, don't know what to do. maybe i won't be able to buy anything...that might be for the best. I think the KMNDZ show is going to be it for me. I don't see me buying anything from the Ceccoli show at Richard Goodall in December with the exchange rate unless things go sour with my attempt at Thinkspace.
