I've been following Eddie Peake for a little while now and wondered what others thought about his work. There's a great interview on white cubes website, he seems like a very well connected artist who has had some pretty high profile projects spanning different mediums and collaborations. I been looking at his work too, i like them more and more he recently did a music video piece for Kendrick Lamar

His show at peres this week should be pretty epic.
Big installations / Performance art and large scale paintings, go hard or go home!

Great release but I was far to slow to decide which one to go for and missed my favourite(s). Trying to decide whether to go for one even though I know it's not the one I want and live with second best, or be patient and wait for the next thing to come along.

Looks like everything is sold out.

Looks like a few have 'popped back up' on counter editions. I must say if anyone has doubts about theirs I am looking.

Seems there's not a lot of love for Eddie on here but I thought I would mention his new show at Lorcan ONeil Gallery in Rome www.lorcanoneill.com/site/index.php image from artiliketosee on instagram, they have many more posted for those interested. Looks like an artist who is very confident with certain materials, processes and themes and nice to see him evolving. This show looks excellent to me. |

New show at the Barbican is well worth a visit, the girl on roller skates made it for me and also it was the first time Ive seen the paintings on mirrors, they are absolutely exquisite judging by the one on display here. No photography allowed inside so no pretty pictures to share but anyone into Eddies work won't be disappointed.
