I feel moved to write about a recent experience buying the last Daniel Arshsm Future Relic released by Oh-Wow. A friend bought 3, for myself, herself and a mutual friend. Shipping was expensive ($150), and my friend asked to have each shipped to our individual addresses. They said wasn't possible to change the addresses, and if she didn't like it they would just sell onto next customer. So not particularly happy. They then split the shipment of the 3, and for customs purposes on the Proforma invoice made no reference to artwork, rather labelled future relic. This invoking 20% vat bill rather than 5%. To not label art as art is lazy, and pretty much inexcusable for an international gallery who sell to UK based customers. When the gallery were contacted they said not our problem, nothing we can or will do. Throughout the whole process they have been unhelpful, unsympathetic and the opposite of customer service. I find it amazing that they can be so dismissive of customers and feel all gave a right to know
