Distinction Gallery is announce “If Our Days Won’t Last” curated by represented artist
Jon Jaylo. The exhibition will feature 21 artists from around the globe, many of who will
be present at the opening. All works will be 14 x 14 inches in size. The exhibition includes a combination of highly skilled, fine oil painters and sculptors. Several artists from around the United States and abroad will be attending the opening reception.
Featured artists include: Eric Lacombe, Alessandro Sicioldr Bianchi, Alfredo Esquillo, Chris Leib, Ben Howe, Michael Reedy, Matthew Bone, Corey Oda, Henry Royales, Jon Jaylo, Ross Jaylo, Pamela Wilson, Catherine Coan, June Stratton, Sandy Yagi, Linnea Strid, Caitlin Karolczak, Shana Levenson, Courtney Brown, Rain Delmar, Hideo Tanaka
The exhibition will run from November 11 – December 2, 2017.
Gallery director Melissa Inez Walker “Jon Jaylo is one of the most talented, humble, and
truly inspirational artists I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I am so honored to have him join Distinction once again – this time as a curator. The line up he has put together is no short of jaw dropping. Some artists are Distinction veterans, many are extremely well known in the world, and a few are new – even to me, but each of them has earned their spot through both their talent and dedication to their craft.”
The Opening Reception will be held on Saturday, November 11 from 6-10pm and will feature live music, Stone Beer, and BK Cellars wine. Studio artists within the ArtHatch building will have their studios open to the public as well.
ArtHatch is a 7,000 square foot building which houses the front gallery: exhibitions changing monthly, "The Alley," featuring new and previous works from over 75 artists, the teen room featuring artwork by 25+ teen artists, 14 artist studios, ranging in size from 150 to 800 square feet, and walls featuring the work of over 28 local artists, The front gallery features contemporary and cutting edge artwork.
