 Two signed showcards by Yumiko, one says (pardon my poor translation) "I love you" and the other is a phrase to the effect of "a smile at the door brings good fortune." Pick a number between 1 and 100. Anyone who can tell me the two masks the girls are holding wins one card automatically.  |

Well I have no clue what the left mask is unfortunately so I guess I'm going with number 86.

i think the mask on the right expresses a women's inner sadness and jealousy. if it is what i'm thinking, its called a hannya (not sure if i got the spelling right). i'm really not sure about the heart mask, but i'm gonna guess that its the opposite of this - an outward expression of love and desire. i'll also guess 11  thank you kindly! |

Shame I missed this show. Yumiko Kayukawa is fantastic.
The mask on the right is a traditional Japanese Noh mask. It is the ghost spirit Murasaki-Hannya. (Murasaki meaning purple). The mask on the left is more unusual but it has the number 4 on it which is bad luck. 4 is "Shi" which also means death. I would say it is a mask of death. The heart lends me to thinking it has something to do with S&M.
My number is 71.

ok...i know the horned mask is a traditional demon noh mask...... the heart shape thing is part of japanese pop culture but i cant remember the cartoon or superhero its based on...its kinda power ranger ish...... well i gave it my best shot thanks for these awesome contests xo  |
