The closing argument is particularly moving: "As John F. Kennedy said, "I am certain that after the dust of centuries has passed over our cities, we, too, will be remembered not for our victories or defeats in battle or in politics, but for our contribution to the human spirit." As we print billions of dollars in bailout money, isn't it time to ensure that we are saving our soul as well as our economy?" I've been considering a donation to MOCA... after all the money I contributed toward "change" last year, it feels a little weird not to have a cause for 2009: www.moca.org/

Hm... Yes, I think joining some museums in 2009 would be the least we could do... It just seems so minute compared to all the millions of dollars that are thrown around.

It does seem like a drop in the bucket... but then I remember that Obama raised $668 million in one year... with no donor being able to give more than $4,600 – and $300 million of that was raised with donations of $200 or less. So I guess it can be done... if you can inspire enough people to chip in.
