Cidade Cinza is a documentary that is now running a fundraising campaigh HERE!.. The goal of the movie is to show how graffiti scene in one of the largest and most disorganized metropolis in the world, originally based on the American hip hop culture, was replaced by Brazilian regional. Quickly, the works of Os Gemeos and his crew were scattered through the streets of São Paulo and then the galleries in the world. However, a new law to combat visual pollution made the city of São Paulo cover your gray paintings...
to anyone who manages - raise/(filly, ho ho) a glass for all of us who can't manage.. I've never tried the stuff myself .. and don't think this will encourage me , alas. (think Father Jack..) the art's nice.. though - I'm sure you'll concur.
The Luggage Store Gallery announces the San Francisco residency of OSGEMEOS from September 15 – October 5, 2013. During this time, OSGEMEOS will
create an upper story mural on the west-facing wall of 1005 Market Street @ 6th (adjacent to the Gallery) . There will be a public reception/celebration with music by Tommy Guerrero and Band and the Go Gettas at the Luggage Store on September 28, 2013 at 1007.
In addition to the Market Street mural, OSGEMEOS will also collaborate with local Bay Area artist Mark Bode to create a mural along the Sixth Street corridor. (location to be announced).
